Terms of Service
Last Updated: 01.11.2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
This document is an agreement between you ('User') and us ('SoundDeck'). By using our site, you agree to these rules. If you do not agree, do not use it. It's that simple.
2. Description of Service
SoundDeck is a tool for finding, uploading, and sharing sound files. We provide the platform but are not responsible for the content uploaded by users.
3. Permitted Use
You may search, listen to, and download sounds for personal, non-commercial use, and upload content that does not violate our Rules.
4. Prohibited Conduct
- Violating our Content Rules. Uploading illegal, offensive, or copyrighted material will lead to a ban.
- Attempting to break the site. DDoS attacks, using bots for spam, or hacking attempts are forbidden.
- Creating multiple accounts. One person, one account.
- Selling your account. Your account belongs to you only.
5. Your Content
You are solely responsible for what you upload.
By uploading a sound, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and distribute your content on our platform. In simple terms: we have the right to display and allow other users to download your sound.
You warrant that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload.
You are required to specify the correct license when uploading content. Knowingly providing false license information (e.g., marking content you did not create as CC0) is a material breach of these Terms and will result in content removal and/or termination of your account.
6. Limitation of Liability
The site is provided 'AS IS'. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free.
We are not liable for any damages you may incur from using our site.
We do not check every uploaded file. Use common sense.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to remove any content or terminate any account at any time, for any reason, if you violate these terms.
8. Changes to Terms
We may change these terms at any time. Your continued use of the site after changes constitutes your agreement to them.
